You Are Why We Do What We Do
How you helped The Parched Garden become a reality

We are thrilled that everyone who purchases our succulents, knows they are getting exceptional plants worthy of the most discriminating succulent collector.

The Parched Garden CEO
Before I created The Parched Garden, I was an average gardener who was always struggling to keep her plants alive. I was dealing with some major health issues and couldn’t do my normal gardening and other hobbies. I was bummed, so I started looking for a way to combine my love of gardening, with an easy to do hobby.
Then one day it happened. I purchased my first succulent, and learned how easy they were to care for, and how much joy they brought to my home!
I was concerned that it was going to be hard to find interesting succulents. But then I found out about succulents from overseas, and decided to start getting some of these hard to find plants.
I decided…
To set out to find the most luxurious succulents for new and seasoned collectors in the U.S. It turns out, the road was more difficult than I imagined. Learning how to import plants was no easy task. Finding reputable cultivators in other countries seemed next to impossible.
It turns out…
The road was more difficult than I imagined. I spent months researching the USDA import process and applying for permits. Then my search for succulent contacts all over the world started! I was able to find several good cultivators and have created lasting friendships with them.
I feared that I wouldn’t be able to find rare and unique succulents that people would find drool-worthy. But I was wrong. I hit the jackpot!
Through it all…
We released our first plants and the response has pure love from everyone who gets a succulent.
There are so many beautiful and unique succulents in the world, and I enjoy finding special ones for my customers! Each succulent is carefully selected and what is pictured is what you get!
