Also known as Karoo Rose, the Lapidaria margaretae is a fascinating succulent! It is similar to Lithops, but it has two to four pairs of leaves. Clumps of up to three rosettes my form with age. It has a fantastic large yellow flower. It is native to dry areas in southern Namibia, around Warmbad and the Northern Cape areas adjacent to Warmbad in South Africa.
This succulent is 1 inch tall and 1 1/2 inches wide.
Succulent will be shipped bare root.
*Despite our careful packaging leaves on some plants may separate during shipping. Please understand this is out of our control*
Plants ship bare root meaning roots are sparse and will need to be regrown. This listing is for the specimen you see photographed.
Most of my succulents have been grown in greenhouse conditions, and have been imported from overseas. These plants will require strong bright light and water every two weeks, allowing plants to dry thoroughly between watering to maintain vibrant coloration. In the summer, most succulents are dormant and change color. As the plant gets more stress and the seasons change, the plant will change color and hues. I am unable to control the plant changing color throughout the seasons.
IMPORTANT: Before ordering please understand that due to a lack of light and water during shipping, plants lose coloration or shrink due to dehydration. This is out of my control.
